Serene Srouji
Serene Al Srouji is a Lecturer at Rafik Hariri University, College of Science & Information Systems, Graphic Design program. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her MFA in Design with high recognition from Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. She received her BS in Graphic design from the Lebanese American University (LAU) where she had extensive international exposure from workshops to seminars spanning the globe (ITType, Italy; Icograda,Czech; Intermedia, Germany). Her current interest lies in design educational environments that transcend traditional teaching techniques and grant insight into required skills indispensable for the influential workforce. She is also continuing her work on her research about innovative processes in experimental Arabic Typography.

تعمل سيرين سروجي كمحاضرة بجامعة رفيق الحريري في كلية العلوم و نظم المعلومات. تخرجت من جامعة تكساس في أوستن حيث أكملت MFA في التصميم بتقديرعالي بين الطلاب في الجامعات والكليات الأميركية. حصلت على شهادة البكالوريوس في التصميم الجرافيكي من الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية (LAU) حيث كان لديها تجارب دولية واسعة من ورش عمل و ندوات من مختلف أنحاء العالم. من اهتمامتها الحالية تصميم البيئات التعليمية التي تفوق أساليب التدريس التقليدية التي تعطي أهمية لمهارات ضرورية لقوى عاملة مؤثرة. وهي تواصل أيضا عملها على البحث في عمليات مبتكرة في الطباعة العربية التجريبية
